ABOUT OUR FACILITIES

Yamaha Music Schools Canterbury prides itself on the facilities that it provides to its students and other groups in the Canterbury area.

 

TEACHING STUDIOS

Each of our 16 Teaching Studios are fitted with Air Conditioning and heating to maintain a comfortable temperature all year round for our staff and students. Our studios are equiped with the latest Yamaha Musical Instruments for teaching purposes, with a support team onsite to ensure that our instruments are correctly maintained and cared for.

 

WAITING AREA

We have a comfortable waiting area towards the rear of the ground floor for parents, friends or colleagues to wait for lessons to commence or finish. With hot and cold drinks as well as snacks and sweets available from the vending machines. Magazines and TV's can help the time pass by...

 

MUSIC TECHNOLOGY SUITES

Working in association with Independent Music Productions, we also benefit from fully equiped music technology suites, set-up for small group tutoring, or to be used by individuals to compose music. We also have a 24track Digital Recording Studio, with live room and vocal booth. The Recording studio can be used for teaching, as well as hire by groups to record their music. PERFORMANCE SPACE

As well as all of our studios for teaching we also have our own performance space to enable us to showcase our students talents in small concerts or to provide space for our students to rehearse for our larger concerts held off-site. This space is also used for our product training seminars as well as by external hirers for there own performances, classes, groups etc...
